For eight years now, Carleton University has hosted a model NATO Conference in Ottawa.
Carleton University's Model NATO Society provides students with the opportunity to learn about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in more depth while simultaneously enhancing their debate and rhetoric skills through annual Model NATO conferences.
The aim of the society is to stimulate discussion and enhance one's knowledge of foreign and defense policy whilst exploring channels of diplomacy and statesmanship. This will be achieved through critical thinking and the ongoing study of conflict and global security by our members.
